Job Descriptions:
Yard Manager:
Duties include but not limited to: providing excellent customer service by performing opening and/or closing duties, supervising staff, managing deliveries, interacting with and assisting customers, cashiering, etc. Must be organized, personable, and flexible. Retail, management and/or customer service experience preferred.
Ticket Booth:
Duties include but not limited to: providing excellent customer service by greeting and waiting on customers arriving to the farm, cashiering and having a general knowledge of farm activities. Customer service/retail/cashiering experience preferred.
General Store:
Duties include but not limited to: providing excellent customer service by greeting and waiting on walk-in customers, stocking, cashiering, determining pumpkin size, etc. Must be accurate; enjoy working with the public, and spending time outdoors. Customer service/retail experience preferred.
Kitchen:
Duties include but not limited to: providing excellent customer service by assisting with sales, prep, cleaning, possibly cashiering, etc. Customer service experience preferred.
Yard Staff:
Duties include but not limited to: providing excellent customer service through performing some or all of the following jobs.
- Gate Greeter
- Barrel Train Driver
- Yard Maintenance (trash pickup, bathrooms, etc)
- Animals
- Gem Mining (cashier experience preferred)
- Fire Pit Attendant
- Gourd/Pumpkin Launching Attendant
- Parking Lot Attendant
- Little Red Wagon Pickup
Tractor Driver:
Duties include: providing excellent customer service by driving an antique Oliver tractor that pulls a hay wagon for public groups and field trips to the pumpkin patch as well as fueling and taking care of the tractor and wagon. Must enjoy interacting with the public. Tractor driving experience is required.
Field Trip Teacher:
Duties include: providing excellent customer service and educational experiences to our school groups visiting the pumpkin patch and corn maze in a classroom format. Most field trips are on weekday mornings; some afternoon tours are scheduled. Teaching experience is preferred.
Field Trip Leader:
Duties include, but not limited to: providing excellent customer service and educational experiences to our school groups visiting the pumpkin patch and corn maze. Meet teachers and students as they check in, lead them as they complete their tour and assist customers as needed. Must be organized, energetic, flexible, and love working with pre-school and school-aged children. Most field trips are on weekday mornings; some afternoon tours are scheduled.
